Mr. Cat says "thank you" for the kind words! I'm not sure what kind of cat he is. I adopted him from the Humane Society. But I think you're right, he definitely has either Siberian or Maine Coon in him!

Hey there. As far as I know, the song isn't for sale on any online music stores. The 10,000 Miles sheet music was originally published in a book called Party Doll and Other Favorites by Mary Chapin Carpenter. I think it's out of print as well, but if you search on Amazon, you will find some used copies. Really?!? It's a beautiful song for a wedding. I've played it in wedding ceremonies quite a bit, but I haven't heard of too many other people using it for a wedding. When I do play it in a wedding, It always surprises me how many people don't know the song, but then ask what it was later, when the wedding is over. Thanks for listening!

I'm sorry it made you tear up, but I'm very happy that it made you feel something. I originally starting creating this version when my cat Otis passed away a couple of years ago. It was too hard to complete at the time, so I sidelined it and then brought it back out when Betty White passed away. So yeah, I arranged it with the very intention of making it sound sad. But oddly enough, I've had several people use this for their weddings. So I guess it can be sad or happy, depending on one's own interpretation. Anyway, thanks so much for your comment. Reading it was very rewarding. And yep... all our girls are gone.

Thanks so much! And great idea to use it for a wedding. As someone who plays in weddings all the time, it never dawned on me that this would make a good wedding song! Ya know, I've actually been thinking about recording a studio version of this. When is your ceremony? I actually have a recording session coming up and could probably squeeze it in. Beautiful rendition. Was looking for an instrumental piece of this song. Every version I listened to felt like something was missing though. It needed the melody of his words.
