Every window I make is opaque and I cant see through them. I followed this video exactly and the windows still break like they should but I cant see through them, any ideas?

Might be the lighting, or try using a dynamic prop instead of static if you’re not using one already

thanks for these videos - there still aren't a lot of simple clear tutes out there. (and there are some annoyingly dense and long ones where he just goes to fast in show-off mode) Ive used hammer since around 2001 - and plently of 3d tools generally. Getting on to CS2 tools is exciting. Getting rid of multiple janky third party tools. Integrated Workshop support. And multiple QOL improvements. Since 3kliks isnt putting out his brand of sharp, bite-sized lessons, there is definitely a set of shoes to fill, keep up the good work.

Prolly either 30 or 60 cuz its from north america and I’m pretty sure those were the standards

CRTs are just so much smoother than LCDs, even at 60hz. I had to scout my local pawn shops and facebook marketplace for a few months before finding one that went above 100hz. They're well worth imo but they do use more electricity.

Probably have an entity that is an error for some reason, and it tries to compile the error into your map instead of the entity that is the error. Or it may be a weird issue like this with a totally different solution

Something with the lighting probably, you can try disabling the lighting in the compile window and see if it runs with no lighting

But fr, I think in the top left or right of each window theres an option to select window options, or in the top bar of hammer in either “window” or “view”, you might be able to add more there, no need to jump out of any

Thanks for this usefull video, I saved that just in case, but recently I decided to finish my 1st aim-map, but it has error issue with custom models, also the are red-blinking pixel textures. How can I fix it up? Unfortunately I didn't find any answer on the internet. Hopelfully my language is clear to understand. It is not my first language at all. Thanks, buddy. You have to pack the models into the map file before uploading it, there are probably a few tutorials out there about that

Thx for the video. There are usually 6 spawn points for hostages and only 2 of them are activated in the same time. Isn't it necessary to set their Hostage spawn exclusion group 1, 2 and 3 in the properties? Do not spawn together?
