I would buy this house in a heartbeat IF that $1800 HOA was not attached! Absolutely a gorgeous home and decorated with a casual elegance I’ve yet to see on a Lakehouse! The only thing is add a heated led lit salt water pool! Good job!

Beautiful house but that cedar roof gives me nightmares. I had a house with a cedar roof once and the critters loved it because it’s a natural product. We had a bunch of flying squirrels chew into it and set up a nest in the attic. It was awful trying to get rid of them and they do a lot of damage quickly. Once we did, we replaced the roof with an asphalt shingle and never had them again. I live in a hot humid climate not too different than where this house is.

This home is really nice & beautifully landscaped . The home has boring fake wood flooring. Just about every other home has those floors. I would replace the flooring with real wooden floors in a beautifully done colonial oak stain.a But all in all this is a really nice home.

A beautiful, original, and idiosyncratically vernacular house... and inside: bland, unoriginal, and typically "modern". I've seen precious few exteriors like it and thousands of interiors like it. What a pity.

All the character and craftsmanship that is the exterior.... And the almost all white interior looks like every other house on any cul-de-sac in any suburban development. Very disappointing.

Never a good sign when the price isn't listed.. Like going to the steakhouse "Market Price..." Where I live a home like that would be 4-5 million... That excluded 99.9% of us watching this. But... its nice to look at and dream for 4 minutes and 30 seconds.

No but there are dead bodies and a entire town buried right under it. Formerly know as Kowaliga, Alabama ... a successful Black community, with the First Black owned Railroad, Universities and other successfully owned black business... only to be taken over by the Alabama Power Company and flooded out... never to be mentioned in U.S. history.

I’d assume that because he’s a photographer/videographer and not a real estate agent he’s just posting his work to get it out there and to use later to market himself for work. I don’t think he cares about the house being on or off the market as much as he cares about having a portfolio.

I spent my childhood summers in Montgomery and a neighbor would take us up to their house on Lake Martin. Learned how to water ski there. My ancestors settled near the lake in the early 1800's and farmed cotton and apples. It's absolutely gorgeous and the lake is astonishingly huge with over 800 miles of shoreline!
