I am 72 now. So much first love in these comments. I remember, so calif. Simple worship, Jesus people. Dec. 15, 1970, and Jesus saved me. I have missed you so much my brothers and sisters. I wondered where you went over the decades. I feel like I am back in church with you again listening to this music while reading these comments. Finally got baptized by immersion 53 years later. If you haven't been under the water, do it. We aren't greater than our Lord that we can just settle for sprinkling. Jesus " came up out of the water". Expect things to change. Expect Jesus to meet you there. First love....I weep to meet you once again.

Beautiful! I was saved in 1983 and back then I listened consistently to a cassette tape of Maranatha until I forgot the tape once when staying at the family cottage. It was left inside the boombox and the next time I went to search for it, it was nowhere to be found. I know it was one of my brothers who I had tried to witness to who probably tossed it out. Sad! I was too timid to call him out on it. I am still praying for Father God to send my 3 brothers the laborers Jesus said we could ask of the Father and believe for their salvation in Christ. Amen. I miss that tape but thank God for KZbin. I'm enjoying the memories of listening to this. 🥰

Aha, so glad that the first sing was written by a missionery friend one of them to Indonesia: Gerrit (and then plus Jullie Hanson) founding homeschooling which then become Classical Education school where our daughter was one of the pioneer students.
