For those who don't speak Swiss German, here's my translation of the first half of the interview. I think I would tell 10-year-old me that it's okay if certain things need time, but that you also have to take that time -- and that you have to give yourself that time to allow you to find yourself. And that the most crucial thing in life is who you surround yourself with. When you have people around you who see you as you are, life is much more beautiful, and I'm glad to have found that. *M: It was a long journey. How would you say you realized that you identify as non-binary, and what helped you to come out?* N: I think that for me -- I think that for a long time, I had thoughts inside me that I didn't understand, that I couldn't find the right words for what I felt. I think that what really helped me a lot is that even though I didn't have all the answers about myself or how I felt, that I opened up to the people I'm close to, in my relationship at the time, and was able to have those conversations with my family and was able to talk about it early. That through talking to the right people, I was able to understand who I am. *M: So lovely! Thank you! So emotional. I think I'm not exaggerating when I say that we all cried on May 11 when they announced "Switzerland, 200 points"!! Thank you so much for being here.
