Yes it works. I also tried installing Windows 10 on a PC with onboard Nvidia GeForce 6150SE. I was afraid I had to install a dedicated GPU but with this fix Windows 10 is at least workable. Upgrading to a newer GPU couldn't hurt as the performance of the GeForce 6150SE probably suffers when trying to play HD video.
