God didn't put a big "E" on the foreheads of the elect, so we tell everyone. Those who were chosen from the foundation of the world will respond, those that were not cannot and don't want to. What you say does not address what MacArthur is saying, what you say is merely that it is God's work. You cannot therefore know what MacArthur says is true only that it is true that it is God's work. In fact what MacArthur says here is not true. He is hearing and repeating men, not God. Herein is a serious problem, we are not to hear men and what they say but rather we must receive from God. If I gave the argument you gave, saying that there are many arguments online for the election that I'm sure you've heard and yet still believe it false so you're a fool, you wouldn't say I'm right, so how does saying it against me do anything? We're back to my point from earlier, where you should give a better explanation of the verse or ignore me. But as for insulting me, didn't Jesus say to "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matt. 5:44)? Doesn't insulting someone who believes something different from you, even if it's heresy, go against following Jesus?
