People here are talking all kinds of rubbish about the driver deciding to stop. This guy clearly decided to co-operate in hopes that his life will be spared. I comand him for not fighting them because this is not hollywood its real.

At the start the driver seems to be watching something in the mirrors. I don't know if that is a normal level of mirror checking or if he was suspicious of someone. If he did think there was something not right you'd imagine he might have mentioned it to his partner. Hard to tell if the driver is doing great or screwing up really badly. Perhaps the best sign is that his partner doesn't seem to lose his shit. You might expect him to get a little annoyed if the driver had put them in unnecessary danger. He looked like he had understandably had some adrenaline going but for all I can tell he panicked and made a bad turn then had to turn around and go back past the shooters. ...it seems like most people assume that he did well and as they survived there is some argument for that even if he had made mistakes in the process.

My pet peeve: Anglophones that turn Drakensberg into Drakensburg, Gansbaai into Gaansbaai or Colesberg into Colesburg. The kind of people that will fail an open book test. Just copy from road signs, or try primary school. There's no excuse.

I grew up where Truck drivers was respected. To pass your code 14 licence was tough . Accidents was low. In South Africa they buy their licence to operate a 18 wheeler🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
