@@ChapmansCorner no I don’t think it is well pretty sure it isn’t. It was in the moment I had two choices.. squeeze or force my way in or take that route. Didn’t want to ruin anyone else’s race or make contact so in a split second I made that choice. Haha Tom gets his own back in race 2 🏎️💨

125cc

These are Club100 karts (probably guessed that from the title lol), which run a slightly customised Birel N-35 chassis. The engines used are pretty clapped out 125cc Rotax Junior Max’s which in an owner kart should develop around 24-26hp, however in these I doubt even 22hp, more around 21hp. The engines are all on the slower end of Rotax’s too, because the builder (Robinson Sport) is instructed by Club100 to give them all of the bad engines, as they are more common, meaning the racing is more equal. Just a little extra, they are electric start, with a button on the Nassau panel facing the driver to start the engines.

@@Reuben_Mamelok Thanks! Very cool. Here the states we run similar set up, but most outdoor rental track karts are crappy honda replica lawn mower engines. Maybe produce 8hp, so pathetic. There are track days and league races where racers bring their Rotax 125cc engines and other shifter kart set-ups.

I couldn’t get past as I lost to much momentum and 5-6 people went past on the inside. Hi, Which GoPro do you use? Only asking this as models 8 onwards have really good stabilisation, hyper smooth. Which helps combat the shaking from the mounts. I’ve found some mounts are better than others on the karts. I’ve seen people slide an old bank card underneath to help tighten it up. I haven’t tried this yet. Hope this helps 👍thanks for watching

@@22_cloud yeah that will be why. Any GoPro model 8 onwards would be perfect. I use the 8 Look on Facebook market place if you are wanting to upgrade. can pick up second hand GoPros cheap.

@@k4rtbros That's good, to be fair it is a fast corner. I drove in an open race there a couple months ago and tried to lap someone at that same corner but on the right hand side. He didn't see me and pushed me into the grassy area just after that same tyre barrier.

@@timwarriner38 yeah flat out that corner in the dry. Seen a few incidents on that bend. Yeah tricky one that on the outside, putting trust in the other person to notice your there. As everyone naturally drifts out. Did u rejoin the track ok? I suppose that’s the same with every overtake tho. Hoping the other person is aware. I do like MK track. Found it good for learning.

@@k4rtbros Yeah I rejoined okay and the guy apologised to me after the race, he realised what he did so it was all good.

I just use luma fusion app on the iPad. I have to just overlay text onto the video. I do this each time I change position 👍 hope that helps.

Cheers. Yeah such a shame that I couldn’t avoid it. Just felt like one of them days where I was caught up in others incidents. Never mind tho still enjoyed it. Oh really what number are you? I think I remember that.. was that going into turn 1? We are going to compete in the experience championship again. We like the format and Sundays work best for us both. Plus we are still so new to Karting, Club100 round 1 this year being our first Karting race. Had a few goes at Daytona Mk and then a few times in rental 4 strokes Before our first race at Club100. So we think that championship suits us for our level atm. How about you?

@@k4rtbros Yeah, I'm number 9 and take the guy out before you into turn 1 last lap. You can see it on my video at the end haha, although I was using my old crappy GoPro. Good one, I'm planning to have a go with the Intermediates on the Experience Sundays next year, I like the format too and have a mate who's going to join the Novices :)
