I was saving once herd a sound finished saving turned around and alien jumped on me. Reloaded that save alien was gone I said thank god not even saving is safe

In my opinion (Cons): 1. Individual units in a formation move way too synchronized, more like a single entity than a group of people. 2. Formations turn on a dime in an unnatural way, with little to no latency. This breaks immersion for me; Rome 1 did it better, though not perfect. 3. Hyper-realism (no marked colors) gives barely any visual feedback of the odds. It is insanely hard to tell who's winning, how many units are left, etc. An option should be given for more colors. 4. Lack of unit collision (still only simulated by the new engine) makes charges dull and lackluster. 5. Missles' outlines are far too exaggerated (looking like lasers) These are the things I would love to see addressed in a Rome 3 or a Medieval 3 Total War. Rome 2 has come a long way since its release, but I still find myself auto-resolving most battles to avoid frustration. I almost never did that in Rome 1. Honorable mentions (Pros): 1. The campaign map is quite detailed, though not always clear whether a whole army can march by 2. Updated politics adds a lot to the campaign gameplay 3. Building cards, public order/food mechanic and tech are well thought out 4. Active general abilities are a neat addition 5. Variety of factions and units is excellent 6. Visually, the game is stunning and very detailed Overall (Who did it better?) Controllability - Rome 1 Combat (Engine) - Rome 1 Visuals (Practical) - Rome 1 Visuals (Realism) - Rome 2 Campaign Map - Rome 2 Campaign Depth - Rome 2

Canon or at least balista towers, two cavalry units to disrupt mongol catapult, trebuchet or bombard, 4 units of archers on walls and spear units to block gate and catapult behind them to hit mongols stucked on the gate. You can also do it with only canon towers, 2 cav units, 2 archers and some minor spear units, but you can't do it without cav units in any scenario, you can do it without any towers but with good spears, nice archers, catapult and 2 cav, 3 cav even better. But you must sacrifice cav units in any scenario.
