How can I test time series; we can't use random testing in cross validation or random sampling . Is there a way to test based on time so test only the previous data which is before given time ? Thank you for your help

I feel you need to re-edit the code because you will need to relevel your factor so that the control can be used as a reference because the way you did it in this video means that the drought is used a reference which I think is not correct. We are comparing the drought to the control and as such there is need to used the relevel argument

very good video, the only problem is I am stuck in the last step when opening shiny.r. It pops 404 directly rather than take time to open it. So sad, I wish I could get help.

I tried running the sample by creating my own project, but it shows 'Error 401 unauthorized'. Try going to 'public projects - green line - Zika sample'. You'll be able to visualize the results and launch 'R Shiny'.

I a big fan of the cyverse technology especially the Bisque image server. Would it be possible to do a webinar on how to install bisque on a local server. The installation notes from biodev.ece.ucsb.edu/projects/bisque/wiki/InstallationInstructions05 don't quite capture what to do when things don't go as they should. The server set up also don't provide much details on the variables that are configured. This External Scripting Webinar was very clear and I even managed to play around with images stored under my account on your servers but I am struggling to set up a local server which if successful would make my development work a lot easier.

I have tried to do the annotations using the data sets in this video. I am first time user of atmosphere and I have encountered that there are several error using the instance v3. For example, it cannot find the data bases to do the annotations. I am unsure if this is because the data bases are not in the instance (I thought they were downloaded and path specified). Do you know if there is a path specification step for the protein databases that needs to be done before running blastp or blastx annotation tools? Specially when you use the instance for the first time?

Hello Lina! The databases for Trinotate are not on the cloud computer instance by default. Each version of Trinotate has a database associated with it and the databases change regularly so that information can be found at: trinotate.github.io/ . However, I will update the documentation to make that more clear. I really appreciate you pointing this out! Another note: You can also reach out to CyVerse support by logging into either the User Portal (user.cyverse.org) or CyVerse Atmosphere (atmo.cyverse.org) and pressing the blue button in the bottom right hand corner. If you don't see a blue button, use another browser or check your browser settings as some popup blockers will block the blue help button.

Hello Bisque team. First I'd like to congratulate you on your efforts to make image storage easier especially for research purposes. I'd like to ask one question. How does one add annotation features in bulk? Say a folder contains images related to a particular patient for obvious reasons some annotation features like patient age, weight e.t.c will be shared across all images related to a patient. How do I go about adding such shared features without individually going to the images and manually adding the annotation features. PS: it would help if there is a comprehensive documentation or forum online. Thanks Ken
