I recently started playing mhw, I played it before years ago and beat the story mode but I did it all over again on PlayStation, so now I’m on Iceborne story mode

Nice! This was my second time playing it but I never got to finish Iceborne the first time so half of the dlc was new for me this playthrough

As a fellow IG user be sure to get all 3 different colored nectars from the monster as it gives extra duration to all 3 and a new set of more powerful attacks. Generally its red for the head white for the wings and orange for the body/tail

Nice, insect gives great mobility in the air so keep doing those aerial moves with it. Also use Sonic Pods on Diablos when he is underground, it will pop him up and he will get stuck.

Just so you know the gaurdian armor is just to help you get through low rank and Zorah Magdoros after that its pretty much useless because youll be looking for more better armor skills now =)

I don't think it's cheating. It's great for the beginning of the game and for people who are new. I did switch armors.

@@1zylizzy Imo this armor is made to rush the game to the DLC. The stats are very high for the begining of the game. I think it's better the learn slowly the scaling of difficulty and discover the tools available rather than having to change everything at once. Tho you are free to do otherwise !

@@1zylizzy The armor is mostly for veteran players who want to rush to IB, if you are unexperienced and use it on Low/High Rank, the dlc will kick your ass

Ey I’m not sure if you know or not, but if you shoot the little pellet thing out of your insect glaive that forces your bug to hit the monster, that’ll give you a color. “Red” “white” or “orange” Red when you hit them in the head, white when you hit them in the front, or back legs (I can’t really remember) and orange for the tail. Once you have all 3 colors (which it shows in the top left next to that little bug icon) you should be able to do way stronger and faster combos. Also rip doggo 😔

I actually kinda prefer to hunt alone. I feel more accomplished when I'm able to beat them all by myself. I'm not opposed to hunting with others tho!

If you are confused abt the moves for insect glaive you can look in the hunters notes and go into weapon controls and practice in the training area or look at a yt vid since its one of the more confusing weps. Always fun to watch someone play MH :D
