I grew up in a Viper original purchased by pops. 15” short shaft 850 XS. Chopper with land and sea lift. Ran low 60’s all day

Yea they had a 115 on them or was it a 120 either way it was rated for a 120hp Some guy told me here on youtube said they would never hit 65 mph with a 115hp motor what a joke mine will hit 67 with 2 adults and 17 gal of fuel i posted the pictures on my Facebook page. They are a super fun boat most of the hydrostreams we fun and you could afford to buy one back in the day.

My first thought was: Oh no, not such an annoying video with music. I usually prefer videos without music but I was really pleasantly surprised. I liked the music and it fits the video very well. Very nice boat and great clips. I would still like to hear the sound of the engine. 👍😃

Thanks for a nice reply. The rebuild was fun and gave me something to do when covid hit. I am not a por at rebuilding or doing video work but enjoy playing around thanks again for the kind words.

Good luck with your mine will not go over 92 with myself and wife i also have a few problems like the screws in the Steer wheel fell out they we to short and the glove complement the hinges the screws fell out was also told he could not fit a second Garmin in so i did that myself. Randy is a great guy but he is getting old and starting to miss things not like any of them are a big deal. I waited over a year for mine was told 6 months then 9 months after a year passed i gave up till one day i got a call it was ready.

Sorry to say you will never hear the motor the 4 strokes are quite and at high speeds all you here is wind. You can always stick you hear out the window of your car at 100 and get the same effect as you will on the liberator

The 4 strokes are very quiet ,I'm running an old school Mariner 200hp V6 2 stroke, you can definitely hear that. There's something about the old Mariner/Mercury V6 2 stroke sound that i absolutely love,but it's probably not to everyone's liking. Enjoy your Boating and stay safe 👍
