Watershed is such a gothic sounding album to me. I think it may be their darkest in tone.

Its alwas funy how Mikael is reducing himself about techincal stuff and so... He is actualy a pretty decent guitarist and very technical in my opinion...Telling from experience cuz im a guitarist myself...Hes a genius actually!

Exactly 10-11 years ago, I accidentally came across this video. This was my first introduction to metal genre and electric guitar in general. I started with Opeth, never turned back, now I'm a metalhead. I've never found a song that's unbearable (most people would find it horrifying), because again, I started with Death Metal 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m just now realizing that my favorite parts to drum along with off Watershed, are all the acoustic/electric sections and the solos. Heir Apparent has some of the tastiest bits off that record.

Mikael one of the most underrated songwriters of all time.

This album has the best guitar riffs ever!! Mikael's riffing and Åkessons soloing is an unbeatable combination. Will forever be my favourite Opeth album and favourite period!!!!
