Thanks to the Toi Foundation for your support and help. Its a huge help that helps keep this Event here in New Plymouth, Taranaki. It was a fantastic and successful day of Racing for everyone, from the Weekend Warriors thru to the Professionals.

In Chile all firefighters are volunteers and they didn't even get paid

Where i come from (austria) 98% of the fire brigades are voluntary i am even part of the one in my town

I'm in Canada and in my town our fire department is entirely volunteers.

There's a lot of nations where the fire departments are even raised from zero, only by volunteers, some countries doesn't recognize them, even in some places they need to ask for money on the street, jus to pay their fire department bills or the expensive fireproof suits. They're worldwide, but not in all countries bare recognized as professionals. They should, without a doub.

Thank u, bc the volunteers on my fire department r so called “not real firefighters” but the difference between volunteers and non volunteer firefighters is that the non volunteers get paid and WE DONT and that hurts me and my dad a lot since he and my grandfather started it!!!! So I appreciate u recognizing the volunteers bc u r right we don’t get the recognition we need!!! But besides that our firefighters r like family, I know everybody and I love everybody that is on our squad and appreciate them so very much, bc they have brought me thru some tough times in my life and I am so thankful to have them in my life

@@wuflzish9687 it is a profession, but he is right, most volunteer fire departments don’t get paid for helping people bc they don’t need money to have compassion or sympathy for people who need them, and most of the volunteers r hard at work trying to make money for their family’s but sometimes as they r working so hard they get called at to umm I don’t know somebody got shot or somebody’s house is in flames!!! They immediately stop what they r doing and go help people who r in need!!! So before u so he is incorrect bc most fire departments run solely by volunteers DO UR RESEARCH FIRST
