Thanks for those video’s. I am amazed I made it so far (approx 10 hrs 😮). Says a lot of your efforts to make those videos. Looking forward to any further videos you will be making and the Luzon and Crimea games coming in, to put all the knowledge gained into practice… 🙏🙏🙏

Great series. Nice discussion and explanation of choices, etc. I think the rule has changed regarding using internals in v4.3. Now, you have to spend on map supply if available and not choose to use internals (9.5 C) Waiting to see the Russian turn as I'm not sure what to do (or can do) T1 as the Russian!
@HeinrichHufАй бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! You are correct that internal stocks cannot be used if on map supply is available. I do not think that we have violated this rule. You might be referring to a situation when the Soviet player withheld supply (or considered withholding supply) in a combat. The defender has this option irrespective of whether he has access to on map supply or not (OCS 4.3 Rule 12.4: "...Defenders always have the option to withhold combat supply and defend at half strength.").
@Gary_QuickАй бұрын
@@HeinrichHuf That's an interesting point. It certainly was even more so in older rules, where you had complete option whether to use on-map, internals, or nothing. It seems they have gotten further and further away from this as the rules have been revised and updated. Good luck with your defense!

After I unpacked a box, I would sit and clip the corners of every counter. It was a bit of meditation and counter familiarization. Of course it was time consuming but it made moving/stacking units easier. Made the board look good too!

I have not played OCS in years due to moving to a small town away from my gaming group. OCS is my favorate gaming system. Now I can play vicariously through you!

Same to me, waiting for my Barbarossa Derailed box to arrive while extensively reading 4.3 Series Rules and watching these videos.

This comes right in time. I mostly play TCS games and plan to get into OCS. I have Tunisia sitting in the shelf for nearly 30 years and never played it.
