Brilliant! Thanks for this…I ordered the same lights after watching this. Two minutes on my bench grinder to ‘reduce’ the size of the nylon bolt and then a minute cleaning it up with the sander and I was in business. I’d really like to use the relay to maintain DTR, but I don’t want to mess anything up since I already have the Tusk LED Relay installed for my rear turn signals.

Oil change should be done after the bike has been put through its paces, so the oil goes out hot, that way it will flush out all the residue that builds up over time. The bigest mistake people do is change oil after the bike has been sitting for days or weeks without getting it proper hot.
@MotomojoFL7 ай бұрын
You are correct. Always warm the bike up prior to draining oil. 🤙🏼
@daniellang61127 ай бұрын
Quick tip. Remove oil filler cap when draining. Better flow.

@@MotomojoFL just the bars. A bit disappointing, but aluminum so understandable. It was at the top attachment that it was bent. Layd the bike on its side, loosen the bottom two bolts and puld it back out. You cannot see that it has been bent now

I'm not gonna try sound like a keyboard expert, but the way the front washed out so sudden, looks like he/she grabbed front brake with more force than needed. Some riders don't 'two finger' brake, they use all four fingers. Or could be the rider doesn't understand how to trail brake into corner. I am a seasoned track boy with RSV4RF weapon 😉

Was a friend following me into a fast first turn at RA. I couldn’t see his hand position but appeared to be a front brake issue.
@HangOnHangOff10 ай бұрын
Looks like the person is pretty new overall. He panicked the second he thinks he's running wide and applied brake, this abrupt braking motion upset the suspension and the tire, thus the washout. The solution is having better vision control, it just takes time and practice.

@Gameboii10 ай бұрын
What lap was this? front end grip is determined by lean angle + front brake pressure. He wasn't leaned over that far, so there was definitely front brake involved. My guess is that he grabbed it too abruptly after getting nervous in T1, since its pretty fast. Cold tires may have exacerbated the issue if it was early in the session.
@MotomojoFL10 ай бұрын
We were into lap 7 at an aggressive pace. It may have been front brake. He started to drift wide just before tucking the front.
