So, I was just tased 3 times by police last week the reason is irrelevant but was for not complying to their demands to stop when I believed they had no legal right to stop me. Actually, let me correct myself, I technically was tased twice, the last time they shot the taser at me the prongs didn't penitents my skin due to the location the last one was aimed at having thicker baggy clothing covering it. Anyways, I never been tased before and I was expecting to drop upon the prongs entering my skin, but I didn't. I felt the electrical pulse of the taser around the locations of where the prongs had attached into my skin but it didn't do anything other than make the areas feel numb and felt like their was some sort of resistance or force being pushed against me in those areas. Made me think of the feeling of when you try to force a magnets positive to another magnets positive and there's the resistance feeling that you can't overcome to get the magnets to touch. It felt something like that but only maybe in a few inches diameter around each of the Taser's prongs in my skin. I simply grabbed the wires using the sleeve of my sweater and ripped them out of my skin and kept going to then be shot by a taser a second time but not in the exact same area as the first time, but maybe a foot or so away from where the original prongs hit. Again, same feeling as the first and I ripped them out once again. Last attempt with taser didn't puncture through my thick/ baggy clothing so only penetrated into my clothes so ripped the prongs out of my clothes and kept going with no effect by the taser stopping me. Ended up being tackled when back up for the officer arrived and pinned down to the ground and handcuffed. Not sure if anyone else did dumb things like this when they were a kid, but when I was younger one of my friends grandparents lived out on a farm. They had an electric fence for their cattle. Well, me and my friend were dumb enough to dare each other to touch the electric wire of the fence. It felt just like how the fence did, which I don't know how strong the current was turned up to on the fence, I am assuming low. Cuz when we would grab it all it would do was give our hands a numbing resistance type feel how I described above just like the taser did but with the fence it would either force our hands off of it or we unintentionally jerked our hands away from the fence upon the feeling out of fear it was going to hurt(I can't say which one it was for sure lol) but either way the taser game me the same feeling that the electric fence did and neither of them hurt or stopped me from moving or dropped me or made all my muscles tense up and had no real noticeable ill effect on me.

How about if the cadet has already a licence to carry a taser or/and a pepper spray? Saying he worked as a security officer prior to applying to the academy. Does he still have to get sprayed or/and tased during the training at the police academy?

Can a student at the academy refuse to have a taser license? He could carry a gun, the baton and the handcuffs for example. If he doesn’t want to carry a taser, then he should not have to do the training, right? Same question for the pepper spray.

Police officers knows about basic defense, but what if they come across someone who is MMA. Calling for backup is meaning that you are not real man to fight, and that turns to 2 officers versus 1 person. If police officers are real steel man then they should be fighting with MMA person to show their strength that they can beat MMA person without calling for backup. I'm trained to be MMA, and i do know about karate. I'm not here to make any trouble or threats against officers, but they should know already how to use different types of a fighting defense system,

I my self was tased in the courtroom in 2009. It hurts like heck. When a person was late for court. And the judge told all of the other judges. Ramsey County deputies in the courtroom and ones that drive the squad car 🚗🚨.

Ex Law Enforcement officer here and im here to tell you that you absolutely DO NOT ever want to experience police grade O.C. spray! It's one level under bear mace which is illegal to use on a human! When I went through the academy they told us not to curse because we were being recorded. They had a sopping wet wash rag and mashed into our eyes running down our face and sometimes into our mouth! On the 3rd obstacle I dropped to my knees and screamed FFUUUUCCCCKKKKK!!!!!! 😅 It literally feels like someone took a glowing red hot cigar lighter from your car and pressed it right into my eyeballs and you can't do anything about it! Only time and air and ice cold water or milk helps and even then it doesn't help much! Call me a puzzy all you want but until you experience it for yourself the same way I had to, then you have no right to criticize anyone else's reactions to it.
