No not every island has a ghetto the there are over 700 islands and cays of the Bahamas and its a very small few that has a ghetto and the ghetto is not like the ones in the USA you can still walk and drive through those areas with out any one bothering

We have 700 islands and keys the capital if the bahamas is new providence so I will start with Andros island don't know of a good hotel there but if you are heading to New providence then Atlantis hotel and there is a lot to see like black beards tower We have 3 forths and taking the bus will be a good way of seeing the island like a native or taxi
