So similar thing just happened with mine. I still have some on the coating on it. Is it still safe to use? Traeger says no since wires are exposed. Thoughts?

Thank you for your info. I’m a woman 69 years old and can’t do all that you have shown on this video. Do you know if Traeger has repair people who can come and service my Traeger. I cleaned mine out today where the fire pit is with vacuum and all the dust. Also, I don’t know how to open the little door where you take out all the pellets. It has a screw but doesn’t come off when I try to unscrew it. Thank you for any help you can give. I’m in Porterville, CA. That’s east between Bakersfield and Fresno, CA.

I know this video is old but my Treager is older. I have had problem this summer with water getting into my auger and now it is jammed (and very rusty). Your video showed me how to fix it and how to prevent it from happening again! Thanks for the help!

Danny I took my bottom cover off to follow one of your videos on taking off the fan and battery , etc . On reassembly I have 2 extra screws left that I can’t figure out at all what they are for . They are the exact same size as the bottom panel screws but I have four of those to secure the bottom panel . Any thoughts on what I might be missing ?

Can you help me with a problem? I turn control knob to smoke then turn power switch on and immediately the display shows 3 1's, 3 2's, 3 3's all the way up to 3 9's, all the while the motor is "pulsing" or cycling on/off like every second, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The music is annoying and unnecessary. Edit: I was aggravated. This video and the music fixed my issue. I will be eating crow for the music

Pro tip. Tie i piece of string to the clip end of old one before pulling it through. the transfer the string to the end of new one and pull it back through. Super simple and removes a lot of frustration .

I followed your instructions on clearing the auger jam and put it all back together. When I turned it to smoke to start it is completely dead. I checked power source and it is OK. is it possible there is a safety that shuts the unit down when a jam takes place???? I love your video. It was extremely helpful. Thanks.

I was panicking. My son is coming to visit from out of state, and we are going to smoke some ribs. I knew the auger was packed with wet pellet dust, but I had no idea how to get it out. Thanks for the easy to follow video. I did it myself and it worked. I’m a 63 yo woman. You made it simple.
