My sandrail had the positive from the igniter to the coil+........Nothing but problems, until the system fried. I replaced with the exact Pertronix system, wired the igniter to the battery......MAGIC!!!!

This video solved my exact problem. Previous owner installed the replacement switch and wired per the manual. Middle aged men with modestly produced KZbin videos remain undefeated. Thank you.

Any advice would be appreciated. I have a pertronix ignitor 2 module on my golf cart. Any reason why the manufacturer Columbia Par Car had one installed?? My cart just starts without running. Would the module have to be replaced??

Hey Bob, I've been enjoying your channel. I have a '62 Imperial LeBaron that needs everything. The only light I have working is the front left turn signal and nothing else. Do you happen to know if the replacement switch is the same for an Imperial ? Thanks, and keep up the great work !

I want to install a factory tach in the console of my 64 Polara 500, I hope the B-Body consoles are a similar layout to yours, this video will help greatly. There is nothing in my shop manual for the Polara 500 console. Thanks

Pertronix sucks! I wired it up correctly, and it put my GTO on a roll-back 3 times. Don't buy their stuff! A couple days after the warranty expires, your car expires. Trust me, you can't replace your points in 10 degree weather, in the dark. Pertronix sucks!!!

How do you get that lower panel off the Astradome without taking the steering wheel off? Have been trying to figure out a way to replace brake bulb without removing wheel but don't see a way to.

Very clear and concise. I am finding many of these mistakes were made when pertronix was installed in my car by my mechanic. A few other things that can go wrong: 1. Magnets can fall out of the sleeve. Apparently they come with a green tape to hold the magnets in place. Many remove the tape and the magnets can get flung out. 2. The module wires can get weak and develop a break, especially when the vacuum advance kicks in and physically moves the module

I thought 1964 Chryslers didn't come with the Cross Ram engine I thought it was only the 1963 Chrysler. Was this optional or special order in 1964 to get the Cross Ram engine?

With ignition switches without the key, I have used a Dremel tool to grind down the pin for removal of the cylinder lock, and replacing it with a new one. Eazy-peasy!
