Discontent is another resource that you can take advantage of. I assign 3x24hr emergency shift for 2 wood piles and 1 metal scraps on the first day without anyone dying when starting the game, plus adding two research buildings finishing beacon on the first day. I’m an absolute tyrant when it comes to playing frostpunk but it gets the job done for higher difficulty level. It’s really nice to see a different way of gameplay. Well done!🎉

In my first Vault… I got Colonel Autumn and James. But.. considering I didn’t remember how to play, I got rid of that vault. This playlist is super helpful. I’ve already completed a lot of the quest lines regarding the Fallout TV show. I’m level 40, and never been low on resources. Thank you SO much, I remember first playing this game back in high school, and I had a blast with it.

One thing I recently discovered (and that I don't think a lot of people realize) is that when you send your scouts out to explore some place off in the distance, you should first travel to a *DISCOVERED* waypoint that's closest (or on the way) to your intended destination. They will travel faster along the known path. This makes the unknown, slower portion shorter and maximizes scout movement.

25:25 forsaken airfield location

The game tends to kick you in the balls right at the very end. When you think you're completely fine, warehouses are full of resources and your income is way more than your spendings. But then it's like "here's -120-150 degrees for a week or so, you have 5 days to gather 3 times more resources than you've collected through the entire game, good luck". I ended up losing over half of the city that i thought was thriving. Same goes to 4th scenario, the fall of Winterhome, the game makes you feel like you're fine, but then you suddenly need 9000 steel which is way more steel than you need in any other scenario, I would say way more than the other 3 scenarios combined. This makes it almost impossible to complete a good run in your first playthrough unless youlook for manuals online beforehand.

I binge watched all these videos and now i dont know what to do with myself. 😅😆 Patiently waiting for more to drop. Cant wait!

Marko actually just have 15 inventory slots when scavenging and has higher chance to find a rare item but no faster scavenge speed or other interaction speed so maybe check the This War of Mine wiki first before record your voices to KZbin ? Also you can just find every min-max strategy in there if you want a easy mode (and relatively strong character like Marko, Boris, Katia, etc. for even easier mode but only available in set group / custom classic mode and certain story mode) despite any war is supposed to be hard.

Wow thats an amazing run way better than mine! Decided to watch how others have done after winning my first run today the difference is uncanny. Managed to do it with 78 survivors I don't even know how I even managed to beat it having little to no coal nor food. Everyone just dropped dead and the storm stopped right before the Discontent maxed out that was scary as hell. I will do better next time with your guide!

Once you get to this point, make a save file! Yeah the game autosaves but if you mess up later on you can skip the first 4-6 days by loading a save.

I play steam version but i dont get special events eg thanksgiving , hallowen
