I should know better than to read people's comments. Some people are horrible, arrogant, and mean. She is not an idiot, that horse was actually being very well-behaved. Her seat was not threatened, she was just trying to avoid the withers. Not all bucking or bouncing is because the horse is trying to toss its rider. Sometimes, like this, the horse is just having a bit of fun. They can tell when what they do makes you lose your balance, and a respectful, comfortable horse (like this one) will stay under its rider.

This is exactly why you don't ride a horse with a shark fin wither bareback! ;). (I know you said don't criticize, but I've been there, done that, and am never doing it again).

+Jennifer R. Povey I shouldn't have done it then because I couldn't ride good enough. Now I could ride him with less problems, as I've collected a lot of experience among this 3 years. It's true that it can hurt a lot, but it's also true that it depends on your seat and the movement of your horse. In my case, my horse is generally very incomfortable in trot, which makes it more difficult to sit him. Trotting him up and down is no problem, but it is when I ride bareback. This Video was made just for fun and I sat like that on purpose, I did not ride like that then and I do not ride like that now. I could've done it better if I wanted to. xx

richtig schönes und vorallem lustiges Video. Und das mit den sporen, ich finde auch manche Menschen richten damit durchaus schlimmere Sachen an, und das war ja nur ganz kurz, dass es ihn berührt hat, mach dir nichts aus den ganzen Kommentaren. Wenn sich ein Pferd auf der Koppel an etwas spitzes stößt, dann ist das ungefähr genau das gleiche. solange es natürlich nicht zu krass ist.

I like how people are telling you that the horse isn't bouncy. Lol and I totally get the hunched back because my mare is bony and bouncy and it hurts so bad like there is no way to be graceful and/or have good eq

Haha! My horse does this sometimes, when he's worried about his buddies xD it can be hard to sot up straight bareback sometimes! (Example my horse can have the roughest trot ever!) And hey 20 isn't to old to ride ;) my moms is 27, she carries us around the pasture every once in a while :) beautiful horse btw!!!!!!

And why are you not riding him anymore? 20 is not too oldto be ridden as long as you are considered of his age and dont run him totally out of breath, a little riding will probably only prosper him :-)

Looks like fun. I can't stick bareback to save my life. In regards to the less than positive reviews, perhaps those individuals should learn proper grammar before trying to teach you the virtues of good riding. I could hardly comprehend what they were trying to get across.

To the young lady who posted this video--it looks like you and your horse are having a lot of fun! But sweetie, when you post these things you must be prepared for criticism, because that's what people do. This isn't a forum for you to garner an admiring audience. People are going to speak their minds. Don't get defensive or smart-alecky--just remember that sometimes you'll get feedback that you don't like and that it comes with the territory. Enjoy your horse!
