I'll be using this on a 30cal air gun for day time coyote hunting in heavy wooded areas. This scope with be sufficient for my needs. Great video and explanation of using the scope.

I was at that cross road with the Petes or the EABCO. I chose the 24 over the 22" as they were both the same price. Like I said on another vid, the EABCO keeps getting better the more I use it. I thought it was so so in the beginning but even at that was slightly better than the stock barrel.

I have 2 of the gen 2 HD 5x30 on my rimfire rifles. I don't really compete other then with my friends and family but I do like to hunt squirrels and rabbits and these high power optics let me pic apart tree limbs and brush while looking for my quarry...I used to be all about vortex and burris, there's nothing wrong with either one, but I think you get a little better features for the amount of money spent..just my opinion.

I bought one of these on a whim. The price was too good to not get it. I originally had it in a 455 that I used for another build but I pieced a 457 together with it and had about 1000 to 1200 rounds through it. The barrel gets better and better every time out. I was out a couple weeks ago and a fly landed on the edge of the target on the backing board. I shot it and sent EABCO a review with pics. Check it out if you get a chance. Iron Ranger

Hey thank you so much for your reviews! Im looking to purchase one of these coats but I’m not sure which Eddie Bauer jacket to go with. I’m in Canada and it’s already starting to get super cold😅 I saw you reviewed another Eddie bauer jacket. Do you recommend this one over the other parka? I’m looking to get whichever is warmer😁
@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan
@GTMGunTotinMinnesotan 8 күн бұрын
I recommend this one instead. I personally found that the only downside is that there is no belt line cinch for the coat, but if you get the longer version then you won't get as much cold draft coming up. These are 650 fill I think, if they made an 850 I'd go for that but price point considered, I'm happy with these. One more thing, my testing has generally been with good base layers, not a t shirt or short sleeve. Just for reference! Have a blessed day

I’m building a custom 10/22 for PRS/NRL and wish this chassis (and precision chassis) would accommodate at least a 1.1” barrel, also extend the forend another one or two inches. The options are extremely limited for 10/22s. I’m assuming demand plays a big part too.

I agree and with time I think they will produce that chassis

I bet it’s impossible to see any difference between the MPED and the Elite tactical, other than the ET is about 200grams heavier (thicker aluminium), and doesn’t parallax as close as MPED, or have illuminated reticle or have both locking turrets. I have no idea why the price is indicative of better. They track the same, you magnify to the same useable range and there is some nicer features in the MPED with their user friendly zero stop and rev indicator, and easier to adjust magnification. If I send my ET back to Bushnell and swap for an MPED then what have I sacrificed? What is the precise internals that we never see that holds massive weight in the argument “until you see how these scopes are made, you’d understand”? But we will never understand, I don’t believe in statements of ambition anymore.

That's a great question, don't feel bad asking. Generally, I never dial for wind unless it's consistent and I'm shooting further than a thousand yards. At matches or just target practice? I generally will hold. If it gets to be more then two mils of wind, I'm open to dialing though

I think you got the right size. I've tried on both this and the Superior Down parka, and neither of them strikes me as a coat that's good for heavy underlayers. The fit is just too slim, so I assume it's meant for shirts that are lighter and more form-fitting. I, for instance, would have to size up to a large in order to accommodate a fleece or bulky sweatshirt, and without a draw cord at the hem, the amount of cold air getting into the coat would completely wipe out any benefit I would get from wearing heavier layers.
