Manchurian quivers which looked very similar to Korean quivers were the state of the art design. It had multiple compartments for various arrowheads and was so secure and comfortable to shoot from horseback. Korean quivers looked almost identical with two compartments (one designed for Baby Shots) except it was a little smaller in size.

Scotland’s king hath made a vow, Keep it well if he may; That he will conquer England Upon Saint James, his day. “Upon Saint James’s day at noon, At fair London will I be, And all the lords of Scotland Shall dine there with me.” Then up spoke good Queen Margaret, The tears fell from her eye: “Leave off these wars, most noble king, Keep your fidelity. “The water runs swift and wondrous deep, From the bottom to the brim; My brother Henry hath men good enough; England is hard to win.” At Flodden Field the Scots came in And stood in wind and rain. At Branxton Green this battle was seen, And there King James was slain. The Scots then fled in disarray, The English beat them blind; Their cannons were all won away, Their ensigns left behind. Twelve thousand were slain on Flodden Field That to the fight did stand, And many earls and lords were taken, The best in all Scotland. That day made many a fatherless child, And many a widow poor, And many a noble lady Sat weeping in her bower.

Such a cool bow. Beautiful! I've wondered if I could get a bow stained white but still show the wood grain. This is close to what I imagined. So I guess 3k carbon is the upgrade bowyers are trying to add? Seem very beneficial when done right.

Nice video, realy good illustration on how to make self nocks, i make them using hacksawblade (i think thats what its called) and sandpaper difrent grits, i wonder what would you do if you happend to make the nock to wide? How would you go about to fix that?? I Like your videos you have such calming energi and great information!! 🙏 🏹🎯
@journeywitharrows27422 ай бұрын
@@christoffergustafsson3057 thank you so much! I appreciate that alot 😁🙏 i think if i was to make a nock a little too wide i would maybe line it with a small peice of leather, some archers place a tiny leather tab at the base of the inside of the nock to precent it splitting down the grain if its not bound or reinforced with a nock, maybe this would also work on side walls of the nock. I always use a thin rotar blade and constantly check against a bow string for a nice fit 😁. Thanks for your support!!
@christoffergustafsson30572 ай бұрын
@@journeywitharrows2742 thank you so much, that a few new neet tips for me!! 🙏 It dosent happens to often that i got the nock to wide, what i have done when it happens is put a thin layer of super glue and some baking soda to get instant hardend and it suposed to be even stronger than just super glue,, and then i just sand it down again, but i have to say that your metode sounds like it would fit me pretty nice, i have to try that if it gets to wide, i hope my method can come in handy for u as well works wonders to secure broadheads (slit in shaft style) and get a smooth transition to the shaft,, just build up sand down repeat 🙏🏹thank you again!!! 🙏

It also looks like it's not tillered right. The upper limb seems to be bending a tiny bit more. I might be wrong, but it looks like that
@journeywitharrows27422 ай бұрын
This might be a combination of the fact that the arrow pass is not dead centre of the bow but i think mainly due to the camera angle and that i shoot with a slight cant on the bow 🙏. I didnt notice any tiller issue whilst shooting it 🙏😁 thanks for watching and commenting! ❤️
