The covers are more better hearing then the originals.

This video was obviously created by someone that knows very little about guitar technique. A number of these guitarists are using a capo which indicates that they aren't that good (a virtuoso guitarist doesn't need a capo, they can play in any key and don't rely on using open chords exclusively). You wont see John Williams (of Sky fame), or similar level of guitarist using a capo. Even the ones that aren't using a capo aren't necessarily good guitarists, they are just playing in the key of E. The ones that are good are easily identified - basically the guy playing Bette Davis Eyes. The poster is confusing good vocals with good playing.

What I hate about these shows is that AMAZINGLY talented people like these are being judged by people who have ‘made it”....but have 1/10th the real talent. I have seen so many people turned away from these auditions that were as good or even better, but for whatever reason the producers did not find them “interesting tv”.
