Some proper tunes here! Piano rave, or call it what you like, is so often overlooked. Sing it loud etc.

I bought a lot of these records and still own them. £3.99 from HMV and you didn't even have to go in one of the daunting dodgy records shops. All of the kids a bit older than me were crazy about the Mystic and Fire Yellow EP and it's still special.
@rave-vinyl-reminiscence5 күн бұрын
I often look at the original price tags on some of the records I have and laugh. It's mad having a £100 + record (to buy now) with a £4.99 sticker on it from back in the day.
Tell ya what...that's a pretty good stab at that tune. It's going into the results list as a possible positive I.D. Nice work 👍

Found out the other day that Roger Johnson passed away in April, he made some great tunes on basement and also with peshay, another unsung hero of the scene, he was also the first dmc winner in 1985, a classic mix too... dunno if youve done a tribute video but this guy definetly deserves one, respect.

I've got a couple of unknown 'rave' tunes although I'd class them as trance perhaps, both from May 1991 taped off pirate radio. They are possibly related to each other because they both use samples from the film Aliens. One uses "They mostly come at night... mostly" and the other tune uses "you now have 15 minutes" with the alarm sounds as well. I have failed to find them so far. Any ideas?

@palmlifeuk3553 Ah OK, well at least that natrows it down and saves me having to go through the playlist, as it's pretty big, I'll have a look a bit later see what i can find, I might be able to find it on a music database like musicbrainz or something similar, ill let you know if i can or cant find it. 👍

@palmlifeuk3553 unfortunately cant find anything on it, its possible its just an instrumental created by the shows producer solely for a transition, if thats the case youd probably have to hunt them down and ask them? Sorry, i cant be much more help im afraid. 🤷🏻♂️

Love this You Tube Channel brings back so many good memories❤️ Now that there is nearly 7k subscribers someone must know a chune that has been going round my head for nearly 30 years 👍 A little long winded but here I go , At the end of Terminator 2 film when the end credits roll the music played was sampled and mixed with a great beat back in 1991/2, I had recorded it on tape from a pirate station in Luton called pressure Fm a long time ago which is now lost 😢 Does anyone know what or who made this Tune and has anyone heard it , Thanks ✌️❤️

@@jamielaw3881 Both films have the same melody in the end credits after checking them (unless you're talking about the Guns n Roses bit that kicks in on T2 after a while lol). It's definitely the same melody on NRG Unity anyway. Although it does sound like they have replayed the melody themselves rather than sampling it. There were samples from the first film (gun shop scene, not the melody) on a different release by NRG called Terminator.
