Get Impreza standard coil’s better quality plus allot better drive . Don’t waste your time on coil overs unless ur going really high end . 40mm core shocks not those spindle things the shock absorbers on a Subaru act like an upper control arm so thicker better ! . Sf5 forester 2001 S daily . WRX / sti used shocks fit perfectly

Hello, I have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 2.4 Pickup truck. I have a problem that no Toyota dealership on planet earth has ever heard of... or at least what they have stated. The other day my truck was trying to start on its own. No, it does NOT have keyless entry. Key was NOT in ignition. Truck was cranking but not fully running. I inserted key in ignition, it would still not turn off the truck. I had to disconnect the negative battery terminal cable (which was temperature hot) to get it to shut off. About half hour later I reconnected the terminal and it acted normal, no longer trying to crank on its own. I'm suspecting the solenoid on the starter?? Any suggestions?? Thanks

That's a weird one. If it does it again, I would recommend pulling the trigger wire off the starter. If it stops, then you have a short in a relay or in the wiring. If it continues, it is the solenoid on the starter.

@@stupidendeavors Thanks! Appears to have been a solenoid issue. Must have shorted itself internally while sitting there. I read online that it's rare but very dangerous situation because potential fire. If it had been stick shift and I left it in first gear it would have started bucking forward right into my house and continue bucking.... Thank god I was home and took care of it. Very concerning

It’s the ghost of the original owner. Try spraying holy water on the key and turning it on.

I was able to get my TPS out with a small(ish) Phillips driver but it sure was a battle! I'm glad I did not have to remove the Throttle Body. I'll save that job for when the Body requires a thorough cleaning, etc. Here's a tip: I replaced the two original screws with hex type screws. The next guy will thank you!

Have a 97 4x4 ext cab that I'm restoring also, new headlights, grill, tail lights Leveler springs in the rear, stereo, ect Love this truck, it was my daily driver for years until I purchased a Toyota crewmax But I have such a connection to this truck will probably pass it down to my kids at some point.. from Oregon

If you pack the pipe with sand and cap the ends you avoid the steel wrinkling in the backside of your bends. Once you have a wrinkle, it drastically reduces strength. Looks great guys!!

Thanks for the tip! We have put this bumper through some tests, and so far, it's held up well. We were able to pull a small brush fire truck out of a muddy field with the winch.
