I remember watching this video 11 years ago for the first time. Turned me from a vanilla EDM kid and forever sent me down the Techno route. As I eventually got into djing at clubs in my local scene, this was always something I'd play at peak time. Some really special memories there. This era was so influential to me that I got the Human Reason (Len Faki Remix) EP artwork tatted on my forearm. 2010 to 2015 era drumcode was peak in my opinion. I think 2016 started their descent into the cinematic big room business techno pop sound. None of Alan's recent work can hold a candle to this era, and so many artists have fallen off the rails since then. One artist that really comes to mind is Harvey McKay. Listen to anything in that guy's catalog from 2011 to 2015 and it's straight bangers. The dude could not put out a bad release if he tried back then. Completely unrecognizable sounds and vibe today though.
