the blizzard balance team is completely failing at their job. If anyone followed what happened in warcraft 3, they basically megabuffed one race beyond any semblance of balance (UD). Then everyone complained and several pro players retired (Th000/chaemiko/infi). As a result, they megabuffed human to unbeatable levels. All while nerfing another race (NE) into the ground so that they are practically eliminated from all tournaments before semifinals. We see this happening here with protoss ultra megabuffs. They even state that the megabuffs are due to "community feedback" and not high level play balance. it's kind of ridiculous/lazy. is anyone going to retire as a result of this? most likely some terrans. Maru? Gumiho?Byun? this isn't going to work out for the longevity of their games.

In G1 we can see the effect of ghost nerf. Protoss finally can beat Terran on face in the late game.

The commentary is very unhelpful to anyone new that might be watching Starcraft. There's like 0 talk about the matchup, 0 talk about the build order, 0 talk about the players history, long gaps of dead silence. I can't imagine being someone trying to get into the game watching this.

maxpax played better first game but game is imba so a 150 suply terran army was still able to stop a 200 supply protoss army several times.
