I know a lot of people are mad because it seems to reinforce stereotypes and while I do agree that stereotypes can be really harmful, please read the description! It addresses all of the stereotype stuff. She is trying to look stereotypically gay because she’s that as her way of coming out. Looking that way is one of the easiest ways to show it as it is a stereotype. Many gay people even joke about how they do things like that to let the people know they are without directly stating anything (I myself as a bisexual person, joke about the stereotype) She is just coming into being herself as a lesbian and so far she definitely is just at the beginning of her journey and the stereotypes are all she knows. (description says this here). Also there is still the femme girl apart of the GSA that she likes showing that there isn’t one way to be gay. Again please read the description!
