I find my leaf razor clogs up so much. Anyone else have this issue?

It does clog up a bit but nothing that water with some fairly strong pressure doesn't solve, I mostly shave while showering and I use my shower head to clear it. 👌

@PedrosParadox I find it's harder to unclog as the shave goes on. At the end of the shave, I have to take each blade out, wipe it down to get all the hair off and then pop them back in.

I see what you mean, the same happens to me sometimes. But I feel that it's a small trade off for a great shaving experience. Can't really think of a design fix though.

Salut de France je suis dans le même cas que toi et au final rien ne vaut le rasoir a main , j'utilise le combo leaf razor et un rasoir mhule r41 avec savon phoenix artisan

Eheh. Indeed nothing beats the leaf. I use it myself too, it's been my go to. Super close, quick and cheap. 👌

I use the braun with foam and icecold water, in this way it wont overheat and more importantly it wont fuck up my skin. My skin cant stand heat.

That probably improves the heating issue, but it's not a solution, in my view the machine should be able to withstand a full charge without overheating.

Same as mine. It's ridiculous how we ever went from such a great and effective (and cheap) method to the bunch of waste generating low quality shave devices we have nowadays. Thanks for your comment.

I just got my triple blade leaf shave today and i have to say I'm super disappointed. Its not giving me a smooth shave at all and it doesn't glide the way my Gillette fusion pro shield does. The Gillette fusion pro shield has this lubrication strip that makes it very easy to glide. The other thing i have noticed is that leaf shave head pivots too much. The spring is too soft in comparison to the Gillette so I have to press down even more to make contact with my skin. Im currently using the blades that came with the leaf shave and was told to try feather blades as they are sharper ? I also use Gillette Gel and the lather is not enough to compensate for the missing lubrication strip. So maybe changing to shaving soap could improve lubrication? Does any kind of Soap work ? Any advise would be appreciated it

That's weird to say the least, my experience is very good with the shaver. I also hear you on the pressure and I barely apply any pressure, just the weight of itself should be enough. Try a different set of blades and make a runnier ladder so it glides effortlessly. I have such a good experience with it, keep trying and find your sweet spot, I'm sure you will eventually manage.

Derby and platinum are the two brands I've used. Can't notice much difference between each other.

I used to have a few of those. Sensitivity plant . Mine even developed tiny Pink “powder puff” flowers all over. Now I can’t find them to buy. ❤❤❤
