This is helpful but curve placement often needs to be controlled by the chord of the curve. The chord of the curve is often specified in terms of distance and bearing on a legal description. I haven't been able to make this work using the Create Curve from End of Object command. Can you help with this?

Thanks for the helpful video! This draws a curve to the right and clockwise. How do you adjust to draw a curve to the right and counterclockwise? I tried using a negative radius value but that drew the curve to the left and counterclockwise.

Description keys can do so much automatically assigning point styles and point label styles. Bringing everything in on import to the correct layer, Tree scaling and labels , labeling manholes, orienting signs. It gives me a stable background for all other points, then I use groups to temporarily show me all elevations for example.. Or I will make a group for my template that use regularly for creating tables. I can use a group to show how I want it to look for plotting, or I can make a group that I will add to a surface. I can use groups to distinguish one day of field work from the next. For. Me description key sets are a seperate tool entirely from point groups and I find it necessary for efficiency. Survey database with description key sets and field standards, you've got a perfect workflow for field to finish.

I assume there will be no answer to my question, but I'll give it a go anyways: Earlier this worked fine for me, but lately I have to reclick "Manual" inbetween each point I create. This is a hassle when you have to mark 100+ points. If I click "Enter" to re-enter previous action I'll be able to create a new point, but the name and everything is reset to standard, so that wont do any good. Any tips anyone? Thanks!

I did not get the option of setting the manual points is to my desired point group name. I did created a group point, but how to select that specific group to receive the points is my issue.

Thank you for your video mr eric. but what is the utility/benefit of using parcels? i can think of one: is it possible to put, for example ,different blocks (i.e. buildings, cars, trees etc) within the parcel, will autocad be able to identify what i have placed in the parcel? i.e. if i place some blocks within parcel number 10, just suppose I place a shed, a house, a unit, and a caravan, with a couple of cars in parcel 10. Will autocad be able to give me a list of all items within parcel 10? i.e. can it list all the blocks (i.e. buildings etc) i have placed in there?

thanks a simple command can help a newbie like me, so thanks to you sir for posting this.

Is this SERIOUSLY the only way to get a simple inverse? It seems like about 5 clicks more than any other program out there and then it is all manner of clunky with how poorly the green select boxes "sort of" work. In Terramodel it is "IP enter" in TBC it can be as easy as CTRL "I". This seems pretty sorry for the amount of money that C3D costs.
