You're right about the processed food here in America, as a Cuban Mexican i have been trying out Jamaican recipes for performance and this morning I made green plantain porridge with manuka honey and bananas and it gave me so much energy at the track! I usually make 2 egg muffin Sandwiches each morning with boiled eggs and use whole wheat English muffins and a thin slice of cheddar cheese and it usually gives me energy as well with a side of papaya. But I will definitely try to make saltfish with boiled plantains and dumplings 💪🏽💯

It would be wise to drop the weight and use a weight you can control with good from. I'm looking at your leg press and DB curl, but this applies to every movement. You can do half the weight on that leg press and if you milk the eccentric, get real deep in the stretch, and stop using your arms to press the weight up, your leg gain will thank you for it. As for the bicep curls, don't let your elbow drift forward. If the goal is to grow the Bicep, make sure your form promotes stimulation for the target muscle. The way you are doing those is involving a lot more than just your bicep. Just some food for thought.

Fam seek therapy. You sound like the same pale folks who hated on Muhammad Ali or Jack Johnson and many other black American athletes. “They not humble.” So what, if you don’t like it then shut them up instead of making grossly subjective slander regarding Black American parenting or the lack there of. I agree with the other commenter from your country. There appears to be a lot of anti-Black American feelings coming from the Caribbean and it’s not just subjugated around sports. Whether you like it or not, that Black American parenting did all the fighting so your Caribbean parents and grandparents could have a better opportunity in the States. Which it appears a lot take advantage of the opportunity until this very day. Let’s be real, if it was such great parenting and upbringing, your homeland wouldn’t be another Covid outbreak from becoming a full fledge third-world country (respectfully). But I digress, you said “Most Black American athletes aren’t humble.” (It’s in the video, so no need to lie about it). Name the Black Americans during this year’s track and field team who “hasn’t” been humble besides Noah. Don’t ignore the question…I’ll wait. In closing, your energy is consistent with the anti-Black American disdain from the diaspora I’m seeing on social media. The alleged lack of humility is an excuse. Feels like deep rooted jealousy passed from one generation to another. Although Black Americans have love for everybody in diaspora, we don’t seek to be like everybody in the diaspora. It’s what makes us unique. One day you’ll take a step back from your own feelings and appreciate Black Americans. Until then, stay humble because we’re going to talk our talk and back it up. In all sports…We’re not just one sport wonders. We’re the best in the world in most sports ✊🏿🇺🇸

It was a cool show until I heard your perspective on Black American parenting. As a Caribbean myself, what you said was a harsh generalization. There’s good and bad parenting in Jamaica just like there’s good and bad parenting in the States. I believe your perspective is rooted from a deeper seed planted from birth. We know what’s been preached from our elders, however I’ve learned they’re far from truth. I get why the Black Americans are pushing for delineation. Our relationship wasn’t genuine from the start. Staying on topic, for every humble and successful Jamaican athlete, I can name 5 humble and successful Black American athletes. It should be celebrated by all. Nothing wrong with having pride in your country first but once you start degrading other black folks because they have a different upbringing, you’ve crossed the line. Especially when you live in the same country in which the blacks people you exclusively chose to degrade, are descendants of the same black folks who fought and died so everyone of melanin skin could have equal rights and the freedom to peruse their goals. Black Americans did that. One ✊🏿
