I bought a used harness and I still have this code. Tried this with my old harness wasn't the problem. Now it get to check the used harness. You think that's a pain try replacing the harness.

Is axle removal the only way to change the oil? To bad there's no drain plug on the bottom.

Yes, there is only one plug one top to drain and fill.

Good work, I do it the same way except I use a second person to inflate while I push the rim. Also I leave the tire stem core out until the tire bead is seated. You get more air flow to seat the bead. Then I put the stem in for final inflation.

It's near Ivy Branch. We were following locals on Outlaw Trails. This culvert goes under St Rt 119.

I didn't get over 10 MPH on that trail. Why would I use high gear? My clutch weights are smooth as a baby's ass and my belt is great. Anything under 10 MPH I'm always in low gear.

Mine never slipped out of gear, just grinding at the carrier bearing.

It was first grinding and clanking then went completely out. The bearings came out.

Seems like good way. And instead of using some fancy method to break the bead I used my 10lb sledgehammer. 2-3 hits on each bead broke it

I have the same transaxle. I was thinking about drill and tap a 1/4" drain plug to simplify. Whats your thoughts? I really enjoyed watching the 2 videos, I think they will help me save some time. Please tell me your thinking about a drain plug

5W50 engine oil is what is often recommended.

It was first grinding and clanking then the bearings fell out completely. Think I used OEM, can't remember, have since sold the Wildcat.

You left me hanging. What did oil look like, how much was removed and replaced and any problems or improvements after install.

The drained oil was very black. Those transmissions are supposed to be non serviceable. I drained and replaced just under 2 qts. No real difference or improvements after install.

I recently changed my Hydro Gear transmission and used 20W 50 transaxle oil. I made video but have not put it out. There was no change to performance.
