there is no way that the #1 cause of death on the PCT is being hit by a car. could you site your source on this? halfway anywhere lists two deaths from the same car back in 1995.

Hey, I’m enjoying this video, just as I’ve enjoyed all of them so far. I thought I’d make a quick suggestion…I also used an Osprey on my 2021 PCT through . I also list a bunch of weight and the waist belt did little for support. My solution to that was to use a fanny pack by WayMark. I wore all the time, keeping my ID, Credit Card, phone, lip balm, emergency water tablets, and a small note pad to keep notes thought the day. The fanny pack, worn in the front, worked perfectly to keep my Osprey hip belt in place when buckled above the fanny pack. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Thanks for the great video. Those them there tips were awesome. I think I've heard of Watch Duty, but not absolutely positive. Is Watch Duty for anywhere in the USA or just for the wild fires on the PCT? I love watching your videos. I'm working on getting your other book as well. I can't wait to get you PCT book. I'm so freaking excited about it. Do you happen to know by chance when it might be getting delivered and how it is being delivered? I'm assuming its coming just by regular mail, but I'm not sure? I have watched other You Tube thru-hikes of the AT, CDT, PCT since 2020. Of the three the PCT was my least favorite trail. Your vlogging job you have done is far superior compared to the others. Now I see the beauty of the PCT and maybe I now like it the best of the three trails.
