Muy lindos donde se puede ver el patrón con las medidas?
@JellyAndPickleАй бұрын
Thanks! There were no measurements, just whatever size you can make with the scrap fabric you have! So long as your main fabric and the lining fabric are the same size you can do any rectangle shape you like!

Has anyone tried drawing the the wax and then wrapping it round the candle and then hairdryering?

😮 that could work! Draw with crayons (I guess onto non stick paper which might be tricky)! But worth a try!!

A couple of rooms in my house had woodchip paper on the ceiling ( with a couple of layers of paint on ). I screwed thin plywood over it and papered over it. It saved a lot of time and effort.

🤦♀️ wall of brambles are a total pain. Here they are all along the roads and although a great fruit they are super invasive too. Oh I would defo remove the bamboo 😮. Oh yikes Ellie I have done that before 😂 but I also ran over the hose with the mower 🫣🤭🤭. It will definitely make a lovely seating area under the thinned out trees. Great job guys, have a fab weekend, Ali 🌞🇨🇦

Definitely! We like to make blackberry gin but that’s the only redeeming thing about the brambles! Haha, not my finest moment but not out of character! 😅 Hope you have a great weekend too!

I’d’ve said that was 1970/80s decor rather than 50s when it would’ve been all dark, free-standing furniture .... and picture rail not dado .... it’s what we used to hang pictures and heavy mirrors from, rather than putting holes in the walls, as they would’ve been expensive to repair - hence the really long fixing nails - the idea was, it made the ceilings look higher. Personally, I’d’ve kept them as they’re an original, architectural feature and people are now putting them back in. I would also have been very tempted to get a plasterer in to skim coat the ceiling (they’re not horrendously expensive, particularly for a small room) it’s made a huge difference to all my ceilings. And, sorry, if that all sounds a tad negative as I’m impressed with what you’ve done - love that blind too😊
@JellyAndPickle5 ай бұрын
Oh yes probably more like 70s! The house is 1950s! I would always try to keep original or characterful features but this one just wasn’t to our taste, and don’t think was original! 😁 Definitely will be getting a plasterer in next time, was just trying to get this room done as quickly and cheaply as possible, it might all change again when we have the rest of the house renovated! 😁 No of course, thank you watching and for the comment! 💛
