Where I go there’s a kayak/canoe launch and it’s a pretty small spot. I’m usually a lot younger than the other people kayaking and it’s in a small community of very nice and welcoming people. If I see anyone at the kayak launch I always do another loop around the lake so they have plenty of time and space to put their kayaks or canoes away without feeling rushed. I don’t understand why people get so upset and rude about something so small when everyone’s just trying to have a good day. If you have to wait 10 minutes until there’s room for you than that’s what you should do and try avoiding stepping on anyone’s toes. Staying respectful makes everyone’s day better.

Marathon boat informed me not to tow sportboat with motor clamped to stern. I’m sure stern tear out incidents involve oversize motors. I always remove the outboard prior to loading trailer. Much easier now with Torqeedo electric.

One of the reasons why I got a kayak is so I didn't have to deal with the boat ramp.

you don't sit on the ramp securing your boat for travel. you load it up, make sure it's hooked and then move up to the parking lot to finish. Plus, if he quit talking and actually focus he would be done in half the time. I couldn't fish with him. Too much flapping the lips, fishing is a calming sport.

as someone that goes kayak fishing on occasion I agree jerks like that hogging the ramp and flapping their gums while others are waiting,biggest jerkoffs ever to hit the water. shut the f up and get loaded and get out of the way,talk and piss around somewhere else just get off the ramp. (where there is suitable bank,I sometimes launch next to the ramp so i'm not even using it/in the way at all.)
