Yesterday was like mid 39s cuz of all that rain and then the heat, the track was mad slippery, I'll need to wait until the first race to see what I can really do

That is sweet. I dunno how you drive with the wheel up that high tho. I grew up racing in WKA and I had to have mine facing more towards me then up like that so I cud do the sort of pull push movement with my forearms or I would get massive arm pump. Looks hella fun tho awesome video

Haha yeah my old karts steering was a lot lower as well, but I found it’s easier to control my weight with my arms more inline with my shoulders so I just kept it, but yeah definitely that little bit more physical

Now that I think about it. I said push pull but it’s more like pull pull, I bet if you dropped that column down maybe one or two holes, flip the block if ya got to, and tried some practice hot laps that way pulling down on the wheel you’ll find after a few laps your not even working hard even when ya flying, it’s like gives ya more leverage pulling down on a cart wheel since ya got no ps on a go cart. I was a big fan of that setup personally just my 2.65 cents

As long as it works for you brother keep her going looks fun as hell and makes me miss my karts bad. I gotta enough fast toys still but no racing karts at the moment but super enjoyed watching ya rip on yours

@ actually to be completely honest and transparent here bro it stormed balls last night here in Nc and I got my kid one of those double rider type side by side go cart type deal from tractor supply the Coleman ones? So we have that, and the feeling hit me last night I really should put the thing thru it’s paces in the snow, and it’s not like fast mph wise but honestly the thing is almost impossible to stop. Even with two grown ass dudes on it. My and my buddy slayed it the other day thru the woods and it’s got alittle suspension on the thing and a cage? It’s pretty impressive honestly but it’s not fast like a kart is. But I took her out last night for some testing

You can hear the engine popping and cutting out at the start cuz my jetting was too lean hence why I wasn't going full throttle on the straights and was tapping it instead

Long story short the brake side bearing seized causing massive resistance, getting worse every lap - which you can make your own judgement to how much that was costing me a lap in terms of top speed. Thanks heaps to Ethan for all his help in fixing it
