I'm glad you like it! There's this bass part that sounds off-key though, I also made one in the Mario Kart 64 soundfont and it'll come in a couple days, and it's way better than this one. And the key gets bad at the end. My personal favorite part is the chorus, I loved putting tons of instruments together there to make it sound loud and epic! The crazy thing is this soundfont is for a nerdy game, it's not meant for this type of power music at all.

I actually wanted to make it 30 minutes long, but my computer just couldn't handle it. Tried it twice and crashed both times. I had to settle for just one minute. If you try it, just be prepared for some technical issues.

Illusion tracks are among the most difficult in F-Zero for this reason. And in SimCity, that doesn't fare well for commuters. LOL!

I agree, I wondered how I could add more fullness to the sound, because some parts of it do sound a bit empty. But I'm glad you liked it for the most part. "Spacial Starway" sounds awesome! I want to keep Rainbow Road in the title though because that'll make it easier to find for anyone searching for it.

I didn't even grow up with MK7, I first heard this song maybe a year ago, and I have to agree. It's definitely the most beautiful song in all of Mario Kart, in my opinion. I also made a remix of this song under the F-Zero Climax soundfont, and there's yet another remix of this song coming. I might also make even more of them given how sweet this MIDI is.
