Nice play! I have done mine also with another move in my arsenal because with only 0 life no continues, I needed a way to have an extra life quicker. And maybe you'll inspire me to do another one.

Best playing I have never seen. I uploaded mine but I don't know why I think I'm the only one who like the elbow move. Starting this kind of play to have life insurance fast.

Awesome playing. Super clean run on the truck stage. In my 1 CC Expert run I always lost a few lives on that stage. Ive only completed that stage without deaths a few times during save state practice. Really nice combos with the headbutt mixed in for juggles. Even more impressive that your doing that on a small keyboard. Destroyed those fuckin clones. Good shit! Those bosses ended many of my runs, even when I kept the sticks. Alot of isolated save state practice and some parts still fucked me over again and again. Super impressive work beating that fuckin timer in the final stage. (4 seconds left. Super intense. Crazy grouping,juggling,comboing on the final boss n minions). While I utilised some of the same traps on enemies, your KILL speed is about 2X as fast as mine. I assume you really need to have that level of mastery to beat the timer on the final stage. Seems like a programming error for sure. My run took a little over 60 mins if I remember right. Still have it up. (the successful run. Over 35 hours to pull it off) Great use of dynamite to lure the enemies, enemy grouping and juggle combos. Didnt realise you could do a 3 hit air combo. I did use the uppercut + knee combo quite a bit originally. Played it safer in my 1 CC expert run in the end. Super fuckin entertaining. Thanks for posting this up. KEEP KILLIN THAT SHIT !!

I don't know why my man at about the 2:13 mark or the incoming boss didn't didn't capitalize on their god given talents and go into the NBA/NFL or something. They'd kill it at the combine as those verticals were crazy

The only big mistake about Double Dragon Advance: Shoehorning everything from DDII and Super DD into the game instead of making four reboot games like how Super Mario Advance did.

I absolutely love this game but I think it's a shame the uppercut combo is that strong. I know you can play the game without using it, but it still thinks it shouldn't be that good. Kinda reminds me how several moves are way too strong in Turtles in Time.

Thank you, Ebinuma, for this message. I appreciate a lot. And thank you for this awesome game! Everything about this game is special. The moment I saw a video of it on KZbin with a bunch of Abobos of all colors in a cavern, I knew this game was made for me. When I was a kid in school I liked to draw custom Double Dragon levels just for fun. This game truly captures the essence of Double Dragon games and goes beyond. It breaks its boundary of being “just” a 32 MB game for GBA. It does not matter. The traditional mechanics and advanced mechanics introduced are spot on. There is a natural learning curve to this game that is both challenging and rewarding. After some years of practicing, your technics become fluid like water and you do feel as powerful as Bruce Lee indeed. I intend to go back and resume playing it as soon as possible.

This is one of my favorite games to co-op and even with a buddy we're lucky to get to Stage 8 on expert! You make it look easy, I definitely took notes!

Pretty cool. I just wish you had added more moves. Kneeling down is like 50 percent of the technique. Flying kicks, the old classic backward elbowing is badass AF, grabbing by the hair and kneeing the face too, rushing the enemy with a running punch is a great way to get to the other side.

Its been a long since I played this game, what does Expert mode alter? Is it something simple like just the time, the damage enemies do and the health enemies have? Or is it something more complex like the AI and aggressiveness of the enemies? Enemy placement seems the same.

The big two differences that I can think of are: - Enemies have much more health. Feels like more than double. - Enemies dodge a lot more. You just can’t assume that your strike is going to be successful. So you have to dodge also and seek a better positioning always. Besides that, enemies seem just a bit more aggressive. For example, big guys will command grab you a bit more. The rest is pretty much the same. The enemies do the same things when walking and trying to outflank you.

Would you say the Chins AKA the Kali stick guys, are the most threatening enemies in this mode? Also this game could really use some fan hacks!

They dish a lot of damage and one must keep one eye on them always. But they are not the worst and can be caught completely off guard while walking around alone. The characters that I have the most trouble fighting against are the agents. Since I crouch a lot to start my offense, I have to be extra careful when playing against agents. I can’t take too long or stand up and crouch again to better repositioning or I might get caught by their attack routine. Plus they have that round kick jump that has extended range all around the plane.
