@@scottedwards8006 with regards to recommending them,I would certainly use internal sprung again but probably a better quality one like desert lizards. I use them with a soft spring and not a lot of oil. Hope this helps mate👍😀

Are you using the stock axles still, I just fitted axial capra f9 portals to mine and the turning circle is insanely good now compared to stock, I did use replicas though so I wouldn't say the build quality is amazing but they work so could go for better quality in the future

the two Sense Innovations branded devices also have brakes, (and turbo options, and other stuff, like gunfire or sirens) and you can fully customise how the sounds behave, but you need to go to their website to set all that up and you'll need a usb adapter for the device. to be honest, the ESS-dual is too loud. it doesnt suit the scale size of these vehicles. its is immersion-breaking, like watching a kitten playing with string, but listening to it roaring like lion. or seeing a VW Mini toot its horn, but it sounds like an air raid klaxon. it is obnoxiously loud. at least the lowest volume setting on the ESS-One is more reasonable. i do agree though that the off-branded ones from china sound horrible, very obviously a synthesised noise, rather than the digital recordings used by Sense Innovations

@@RallyandTrail cheers buddy,merry Xmas👍🍻I ve had the traxxas trx4 and trx6 and axials and they re good,no question,but ftx have really upped their game on these new rigs.No,they wo nt be as strong but parts are easy to get and cheap. I ve always been a fan of ftx for value for money👍👍😀

I would nt argue with you on that one mate🤣🤣 but at almost twice the price you d expect it to be.but to be honest,as crawlers they re both crap! Good for trailing on flat ground but no good if you want to crawl proper.The detail is off the scale on both and it’s just a shame they do nt perform as good as they look! I ve now sold my 802👍

These Trucks are not Crawlers... They are Scale Crawlers.... And you have to drive Scale.... Otherwise it doesn't look good..

Cheers buddy👍the sheer size of it makes it impressive,early days for me and it was literally out the box,charge a battery and off I went,it was great fun but it’s no mauler mate,it’s big and heavy so not gonna crawl like the 1-10’s do, just requires a diferent style of driving but was no less fun to drive👍👍😀

Not final thoughts as still waiting on parts,but so far,bit top heavy on steep climbs and had a tendency to flip over backwards,rolled fairly easily when side hilling.Body clips are a pain in the ass and at £500 a clipless system should have been fitted imo. Needs as much weight as possible on the front and widen the stance,possibly shorter shocks to lower the body. On the plus side,with the fusion pro the torque and slow control combined with the new style gearbox is awesome,it pulls with ease over anything when it does nt flip. Worth the money? You know I m an axial fanboy so Of course it is,it’s an AXIAL🤣🤣but it needs tinkering with,but do nt they all👍👍😀as good as it is or will be it wo nt stand a chance up against my MAULER! but you already know that!!🤣🤣🤣
