I think Deen is actually the best post Steve singer. Arnell and Augeri could hit the higher register very well, but Steve's voice had grit in the lower register. Deen can get pretty damn close doing both. Faithfully is a fairly easy song to sing. Go listen to Steve Augeri, Steve, Perry, and then Deen sing Seperate Ways. Then listen to Arnell. I love the little guy he's just outgunned. Unless he prefers playing drums, to singing there is not reason for him not to be on vocals. I don't think that's very likely because he sings in a couple side bands.He's as close to Steve Perry as they're ever likely going to find.

Very well done, I've seen both versions of Journey with Steve and later on with Arnel and they both have great voices but I love how Steve Perry pulls it off on the original concert video.
