In case anybody hasn't heard of the term "Poverty Porn" before; basically it's when these big news agencies go around filming working class families living in council estates, and paint them all as lazy, scruffy, and good for nothing. They completely take advantage of the hardships that the working class community has to go through for the middle and upper class people to watch on TV.

Karen did her community so dirty. People are literally saying they’re saving their PENNIES to donate..these are people living in poverty, SO COMMITTED to rallying around the family, defending them to the press, doing everything in their power to help. I had to drag my daughter around in DV shelters when she was growing up. Now I'm finding myself back in one. But unlike the first abuser that I went back to 4 times, this time was the last time, been in here 5 days and already have a job.

Karen is a horrible mother and person, She has 6 Children by 5 different Father's, Her Children had to live in Filth and Disgusting gross home, Men coming in and out of the home all the time at all hours of the night, there were drug's and alcohol which more than likely came before nourishment and healthy foods for the Children, When given money that was donated by the public to help her care for her children and home she used for food 1 cart of food the other cart filled with alcohol, When they found Shannon she showed no sign what so ever that she was happy and thankful she was found alive and for the most part unharmed, She's a liar and Fraud just an all around horrible person.
