how so? The actors are so talented no doubt in that but personally I think the fault in all this chaos of this season are the showrunners. They butchered the characters so much , especially Colin, they disrespected his character so much. Book Colin is way better...

​@@kissofarose100I don't think so here colin was just upset with pen, but in the books he was pressing her arms to an extent that she could get bruises. Even the engagement dance he was holding her so tightly that discomfort was so visible in the description. But in here in this dance he was so graceful with her. He was so caring with her during the wedding. His fingers so loving traced her face in the end of dance. He was literally going to kiss her. The series Colin would struggle in agony, but never physically hurt pen no matter how angry he is.

@@jenittasabu4062 But in a way book Colin was more funny and not so dramatic, I seriously think they put the light on Pen and forget Colin's issues. He had a serious inferior complex but the show did not go in deep with that issue they just said he was jealous of Pen's writing where in the books he is more expressive with his feelings. I get the gentle parts , they are beautiful but it is like they polished him at the outside without trying to move away the layers so that we can see the core of his real character.

@@kissofarose1008 episodes are never going to be enough for Polin because characters literally have so much depth honestly. But it's the decision of production, not of writers or creators. There is always limitation when it comes to series.

Thank you! I love the books also with the exception of the last volume, I just did not liked the all toxic relationship Francine described in that book; I felt she sugarcoated the all abuse in that relationship.
