So many fantastic memories. 't Blok was a great host with friendly people, great sandwiches and we had a lot of fun. Sadly i got a hurting punishment for driving too fast to Nieuwerkerk and my first "point" ever, a penalty system in germany for bad & fast driving. A remarkable saturday and a memory to remain.

The 80's were not a kind decade for Renaissance with Miles Copeland and bassist Jon Camp trying to push the band into a more commercial direction. However, Annie Haslam and Michael Dunford did what they could to keep some of their prog rock roots alive, at least enough for this fan to hang in through these lean years. This band was just not the spike haired, skinny tie type!
