29:09 Sir if the charge on the rod was, lets say '+q', i.e., "Q(inducing) = +q". Now shouldn't the charge on the side closer to the positively charged rod be '-q', i.e., "Q(induced) = -q". So the charge on the side (of the 2 combined identical conductors) away from the positively charged rod be '+q'. Such that -q + (+q) = +Q(i.e., the original net charge on the 2 combined identical conductors) So if we match your case, "-Q = -q", and "+2Q = +q"?
@PainofTheaction3 ай бұрын
Sir can both Net positive and negative charge be induced in case of a conductor, by only using one kind of charge for the induction process? Say if the inducing charge was positive(like you used), then if we attach the earthing wire to the negatively polarised side, the excess electrons will flow to the earth, giving us Net Positive charge once inducing charge is removed.. And if we attach the earthing wire to the positively polaised side, then the free electrons from earth will flow towards it, giving us Net negative charge once inducing charge is removed. is this possible?

Sir,how to find least count
@physicswithpankajsir9364 жыл бұрын
Least count can be determined directly by observing the value of the smallest division on meter scale, ammeter,voltmeter but in case of screw gauge,vernier calliper formula is involved.you will get familiar to the formulae while you will do experiment.

Sir can u please tell that why we consider charge as scalar quantity as same charges repel ie they move in opposite directions so why are we not considering it as a vector quantity in this context
@physicswithpankajsir9364 жыл бұрын
there is a difference between charge & force. They r moving due to force. Force is a vector.
