I heard this version of this record but I heard this record back in 1983 82 81 at The loft on 99 Prince Street at David mancuso's place. It didn't have all this talking on. It was just pure music so when did this version come out cuz the original was gangster pure music

I’m glad there are others here that prefer this version over the retooled one on the DSPs. I get trying to remix and bring it new life but it just feels empty. The second this one starts, it just FEELS like home. As I write this on New Years’ Day, hope all my fellow house-ians stay alive and well all 2025 and beyond 🙏
