You can sneak run too, its silent. Crouch very fast wih running. It takes a lot of skill and allows you to avoid giants and dogs.

Knowing the spawn algorithm for outdoor monsters i wouldnt recommend killing eyeless dogs which takes alot of effort+ more will spawn as long as you keep killing them

CORRECTION: dogs do not spawn on every moon and spawn at earliest during 1 PM. a general rule of thumb is they only spawn on snowy or arid maps, there might be a snow map they dont spawn on though. dogs can not walk through furniture, if the noise was not made behind the barricade, if the noise was from infront of the barricade they will not go through it.

I always drop down titan on those light fixtures and one day I tried this as there was a dog aggro'd on me but I was too scared to get close even while crouched so I never got to hit it. If only I knew how close I was to discovering greatness lmao

what a cheese strat

wanna mention on the "avoid dogs" front that you can crouch sprint (sprint and spam the crouch button as you sprint) to be completely silent if you're up against a giant and a dog. In general, crouch sprinting makes avoiding dogs very trivial. I'm assuming it's gonna get patched in the next update, though.

This strat is mega busted with the LGU mod, since the tier three Hunter upgrade lets dogs drop samples that usually sell for at least 100. Super good if you play with mods 👍

Idk how you invented the dog kernel but did not find the titan spot on your own, pretty much half of my friends that are very experienced with this game (that makes 3), know this spot and we all found out by ourselves and did not see it from each other. But the dog kernel is insane. There is another strat we found in the funniest way that I think other people also know about. So, in v40 dogs used to kill us through the walls or the doors of the ship ALL the time, so we tried killing them through those barricades, and it worked... that was also the update that made the Dogs non-immortal. By far the easiest way of doing this strat is yelling and smacking the door when a dog is near, if you manage to hit it(you have to hit it while its in front of you), it will keep sliding on the door, over and over and over again. Since when you close the door you can no longer see the dogs that are outside(To this day I do not know why this happens) you can "know" to hit when they are pushing you through the door. This strat is safe to execute even if there are 2+ dogs, safe from giants, weather, but if you don't practice it even the slightest, something is bound to go wrong.

You can also shut the door, hit the door, and kill dogs that way, if you have friends they can stand on top of the ship near the door and when it gets low you back off until it gets back up enough for the dogs to leave. It allowed me to run Eclipsed Titan, dogs also don't respawn so giants are the only issue remaining at that point

In most games I would consider killing an enemy through walls is cheating, but since these fuckers can kill us through walls I see it as fair for us to be able to do the same

I used the door of the ship to kill the dogs but one time they grabbed me through it. Not sure if I have to be crouched or maybe avoid them while they run and dash.

Killing them just sounds like a bad idea as it just allows the game to spawn new stuff. And giants are just waaaaaaaaay more dangerous. Even baboon hawks, if more than 2 spawn, are way worse as they get aggressive easily in larger numbers. Dogs are easily avoided and should not be killed in 99% of circumstances as the game will just spawn something more dangerous to replace it.

You can also kill it by hiting it through the ship door even if its closed, its super easy and quick, ive gotten 4 dog kills on titan during an eclipse

They don’t spawn on vow at all. Check the wiki spawn rates 👍🏻 Edit: corrected myself in comments.

Keep in mind that cheese strat DOES NOT work on dine: terrain on the mentioned spot is too elevated and allows dawgs to easily get you
