When my wife first brought me to her church, Words of Life, i left my church where i was attending for years. I really loved my church. When paster would have an alter call, he would call me up front saying, Bob, you take the center, PasterJoe, you take the right side, and Paster Steve, you take the left. I loved when God would use me. Then after many months, Karen, my wonderful wfe, told me she missed words of Life and Paster Stan, so I went to my Paster one day to ask about it and he ask me what do they teach. I said they teach the Word and they teach love, like we do here. I was surprized when he told me, I know you love your wife so why don't you go with her for a while. I didnt want to but I stayed obedient and came to Words of Life. I already loved Dad Hagin and Ken Copeland, Jesse, Kieth Moore, Jerry Sevel, and all the other Generals God would send to Paster Stan and Jerry. I could feel the love but I really didn't get close to anyone, I would always stay with Karen and the kids and go out to dinner every sunday, but I missed my first church, I missed coming up front and laying hands on and praying with people. One Sunday during praise, Paster Stan opened the alter and I came up, got on my knees and ask God, saying, Father I miss my church, L miss loving the poeple. As I was talking with the lord, I felt a tap tap on my shoulder and I turned and looked, and it was John, the head usher pointing up to Paster Stan and Jerry and Mom Jerry was pointing a finger at me saying, almost yelling, looking me in the eyes, God says you stay right where you are. Then Paster Jerry pointed at the man next to me and said, you, you there, you in the blue suit, God is healing your back right now. When she said that, I could hear the bones in his back crunching loudly and he stood up healed, praising God. Thats when I knew this was my new home. That was over 20 years ago. I came to really love Paster Stan and Jerry and to really know the Moore's family. That was When little Richard was still riding with his dad,Paster Rick, 5 years old in daddys corvette, hanging out the window. I got very close to Pastor Stan and got my hugs every chance I could. I come to love your Pop Pop as much as anybody and God used me in the prison ministery every week, for 15 years. When Paster went home with the lord, I really missed him, I missed my hugs so much. Yes, everything you said about Pop Pop, is so very true. He was the best. He lifted us up, and then his love held us up. Thank you for this, we will never forget those eyes and that love, Just before Paster Stan went home, I had an accident, I had a fall about 30 feet, one of my large international Deisel trucks was parked under where I was working, and as I fell, I hit the large back door that one of my guys left. I hit sideways just under my right arm and it broke my back totally, every rib on my right side, shatterded my shoulder an collar bone, I thought this is it. Ems came, took me to Broward General hospital and into ICU. The doctor told my wife, about 9 in the morning, this man is not going to live, maybe a few more minutes and if by some miracle, if he does, he'll never walk again because his back was seperated sideways, very broken. Immediatly, Karen called PasterStan an told him and he arrived so fast, I don't know how, and as he laid hands on me I passed out. Later, around 6 that same night I woke up and paster was still there saying Bob, Bob, wake up. I opened my eyes, not sure if I was dreaming, I turned my head and there was daddy Stan. Saying, Bob, God said to move your toes. I looked at Paster and then the clock, back to Paster and he got stern and scolded me saying, "God said, move your toes". Well I did, and they moved, Paster said to me, we had work to do, now I can go home. He hugged me, said I love you. I started to thank him and he stopped me. He pointed up and no, thank him. I love that man.
